Finish Line I 10:30AM - 2:30PM more info WHAT YOU GET: Entry to the Finish Line Party! With belly warming soup and bread, an event t-shirt and a ride pass to give to someone. WHAT MAKES THIS POSITION COOL: Help set up for the Party and then enjoy it. Photo booth, live music and fun! DETAILS: You help set up for the party including, moving tables and chairs, empty garbage cans, distribute supplies, prep food and other tasks as needed.We have seated and standing, lifting and non-lifting projects available for shy or outgoing people. About Riding: This position does not allow you to ride, but you can give someone a free ride if you volunteer. After you register to volunteer, we will send you a one-time code for a free pass. Course Marshal TIMES VARY more info WHAT YOU GET: A free ride, t-shirt and entry into the finish line party. WHAT MAKES THIS POSITION COOL: Help riders find their way at specific places on the course. DETAILS: You'll help keep bikers safe on course. You will be working with a team of other Course Marshals in slowing car traffic and permitting riders to cross at safe moments. We will provide you with safety vests and flags. Event Details

Get ready to ride with 4,000 other fun-loving people for the Worst Day of the Year Ride, an 18 or 45-mile odyssey around downtown Portland that has become one of Portland's favorite and iconic events.

We'll keep you warm and cozy at every turn with belly-nourishing treats including hot cocoa, doughnuts, fruit, spicy chai tea, soups, bagels, hot cider and a huge finish line lunch (all included).

Join hundreds of other hardy souls as we laugh at the elements and gather for a delicious finish line party catered by Laughing Planet Cafe at the southeast Lucky Labrador brew pub.

The ride is capped at 4,000 riders. Register early so you don't miss out. The Worst Day of the Year Ride is a benefit for the Community Cycling Center.
